Day 1 : We’ll first receive you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and assist you to your hotel. Later we’ll introduce your climbing guide who’d help you reach your destination.
Day 2 : The climbing guide will teach you some trekking and climbing techniques and make you familiar with all your climbing equipments like rope, harness, ice axe, crampons etc. You’ll stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : For a scenery flight of about 30 mins you’ll need to get into a domestic airplane and then fly to Lukla (2840m). After the flight you walk through stone paved trails, few ups and downs and you’ll reach Phakding (2650m). This trekking is of 3 hours which will surely be exciting as you’ll pass through many prayer rocks (“Mani” in local language). Today you’ll be staying overnight at a guesthouse in Phakding.
Day 4 : Today is the day for another exciting trekking of 6 hours towards Namche bazar (3441m). On the way, you can enjoy the view of many mountains like Mt Kusum Khangru , Mt Lotse as well as Mt Everest. You’ll have to pass through the Sagarmatha National Park, some suspension bridges , sometimes up the hill and sometimes down to the river. You’ll stay overnight at a guesthouse in Namche Bazar.
Day 5 : In Namche you can explore museum, monastery, visit Khumjung village, Khondge village, National Park Head Office and many more according to your time and interest. Then you’ll stay overnight in Namche.
Day 6 : Today we’ll head uphills towards Kyanjuma viewing the finest scenery of various peaks then descend to Fungi Thanga, cross bridge of Dudhkoshi and climb through pine forest to reach a popular monastery in Khumbu region i.e. Tengboche(3860m).This will all take just 5 hours and then you can enjoy the cultural and regular ceremony of Buddhists in Tengboche monastery.
Day 7 : We are heading towards Pheriche(a popular sherpa village) that will also take 5 hrs. Here you’ll get to know about various cultures, traditions, living styles of sherpas. We are staying overnight in one of the guest houses.
Day 8 : Here is another acclimatization day for you so that you can enjoy the warmth of the people. Otherwise you can also climb up to the ridge and get an altitude class from the doctors in the Aid post.
Day 9 : On this day, we are getting to the top of the ridge nearby Khumbu glacier and some few easy steps lead us to Lubuje (4930m) within 4 and half hours .A guesthouse in Lubuje will be arranged for your accommodation.
Day 10 : We continue to trek and we’ll have to climb through the ridge to reach the Everest base camp (5364 m). Inspite of the steep climb, you’ll be enjoying it due to the breathtaking view of crystal clear mountains which are coming nearer and nearer. On the very day we’ll be returning to Gorak Shep (5180m) so that we can ascend to Kalapatthar. Within 8 hours we’ll be resting in one of the guest houses and shall spent the night there.
Day 11: We’ll spent 7 hours in hiking and trekking. First we’ll hike to Kalapatthar(5545m) which is the notable landmark on the south ridge and then we’ll trek down to Dingboche(4410m).
Day 12 : Early in the morning we’ll lead a rocky trail to the high camp(5400m).We’ll move for about 5 hours enjoying the beautiful views of mountains, glaciers and valleys.Tent is to be arranged for the accommodation.
Day 13 : The next day we’ll be attempting for the summit i.e. the destination spot. So for today, we will be taking rest in the high camp and we’ll be waiting for the next day in tented camp.
Day 14: After the 13 day trip, today we’ll be reaching our destination. First of all, rope is fixed that will lead us to the summit. By reaching the summit we’ll actually enjoy our expedition. Finally we’ll get down to the base camp and spend the night in the tented camp.
Day 15: Now we’ll be returning back and by today we can reach Pangboche(3930m) within 6 hours. So you’ll be staying in the guest house this night in Pangboche.
Day 16: As we are returning, all the routes will be repeated and today with trekking of 6 hours we’ll be reaching Namche Bazar and spend the night there.
Day 17: Today we’ll climb down for 4 hours to reach Phakding(2650m) which is small but a lovely village in the Khumbu region. We’ll stay there for the night in one of the guest houses.
Day 18: Today is the final day of our trekking. Within 3 hours, we’ll reach Lukla(2840m) and have rest in a guesthouse.
Day 19: A flight to Kathmandu and you can transfer to a hotel to give rest to your tired legs and body. You can stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 20: Today you can just take a rest in the hotel or you can hangout and do some shopping in the city if you desire. You’ll be spending your last night of Nepal at the hotel.
Day 21: Finally the trip will end up with lots and lots of beautiful and exciting memories, some experiences and a goodbye. We’ll be sharing the photos and with a hope to meet again we’ll drop you to the International airport. |
