Day 1: We’ll receive you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and then we’ll assist you to your hotel. A guide who’ll be helping you with your journey will be introduced. You’ll be staying tonight at the hotel.
Day 2: The climbing guide will teach you some trekking and climbing techniques and make you familiar with all your climbing equipments like rope, harness, ice axe, crampons etc. You’ll be staying overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: From today onwards your journey to Pisang Peak begins. We’ll drive for about 5 hours to reach Dumre and then to Besisahar(760m) where our crew members would be waiting for us. We are staying there for the night.
Day 4: Today we are going to have a trek to Tal(1700m). We’ll reach there within 6 hours and there you can find very stunning view of Tal that lies in a narrow high walled rocky canyon with spectacular mountain sceneries. A guest house will be booked for your accommodation.
Day 5: We’ll be moving onwards to Bagarchhap(2160m). It will take 5 hours to reach Bagarchhap which is surrounded by apple orchards. It’s the place where you’ll be able to observe and know many things related to Buddhist culture. We’ll be staying in one of the guesthouses for the night.
Day 6: On this day, we are visiting the administrative headquarter of Manang district i.e. Chame(2670m) which will require 6 hours of trekking. Here is Chame, comparatively developed place as we can find police headquarter, doctors, very comfortable hotel, facility of Internet , a large school and also a Stupa next to it. There is a miniscule hot water spring too. We’ll find a guesthouse for the night.
Day 7: When you wake up you can have a glance at the awesome view of Mt Manasalu and Mt Lamjung covered with snow in the bright sunshine. Today we will be having 6 hours of trekking to Pisang(3200m). Pisang is a busy village and here you’ll find Marsyangdi river that divides Pisang into lower and upper Pisang. Upper Pisang consists of a beautiful Buddhist temple. After roaming around the place we’ll be staying at a guesthouse.
Day 8: Today we’ll be trekking further 1000m upward to Pisang base camp (4200m) where we will set up our first tent. On the way you’ll see pine forest and beautiful view of various mountains. We’ll spend the night in the tented camp.
Day 9: After trekking to the suitable place, we’ll set up another tent in near about 5300m elevation i.e. High Camp and spend the night there.
Day 10: Next day, we will be getting to the summit so for today, we are going to take rest in the high camp and spend the night in the same tented camp.
Day 11: We’ll attempt for the summit of Pisang Peak (6091m). Then we’ll get back to the base camp and stay there for the night.
Day 12: Trekking to Manang (3540m) will take us about 6 hours. As soon as you reach the place you’d love it. It’s surrounded by the most beautiful views you had ever seen. Overnight stay will be at the guest house.
Day 13: Acclimatization day in Manang is a must. We’ll be visiting the Manang cultural museum or the projection hall. We’ll be attending the lectures that the Himalayan Rescue Association holds every day in Manang. There are lots of things in Manang like Ice Lake, Praken Gomb that a day seems to be too short. However we’ll be experiencing everything according to our interest and time. Tonight we’ll be at Tilicho House.
Day 14: We’ll be trekking the treeless, dusty way to Yak Kharka (4100m) in 4 hours. But it will still be beautiful in a morbid way. We’ll stay at a guesthouse for the night.
Day 15: Trekking to Thorang Phedi (4450m) from Yak kharka takes 4 hours.The landscape is dry and we’ll be trekking on the side of a cliff for about an hour. This will really be an exciting as well as a daring experience. We’ll be spending the night at a lodge.
Day 16: Today we’ll be trekking to Muktinath (3760m) crossing over Throng La (5416 m) in 8 hours. Visit to Muktinath Temple Complex will be made where we’ll find Buddhist gompas and Hindu temples. There are 108 water spouts surrounding the temple and taking shower under all the spouts in such a cold weather is supposed to sweep away all your sins. We’ll be managing a lodge for the night.
Day 17: Trekking to Marpha (2670m) via Jomsom (2720m) by 6 hours is what we’ll be doing today. Marpha is known for the delicious and apples in large quantities, clean and pleasant in taste. There is a Thakali village where we’ll find impressive gompa called Nyingmapa Buddhist gompa. We’ll find a suitable guest house to spending the night.
Day 18: After so much of trekking, we’ll be driving to Tatopani (1190m) which will take about 4 hours. On the way you’ll see Kali Gandaki river flowing between two peaks of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. This day can probably be called a resting day as you’ll neither have to walk much nor you’ll be visiting any monastery. You’ll just enjoy getting massage or soak in Tatopani (hot water) which is a place with hot springs. Overnight we’ll stay at a guest house.
Day 19: Today we need to trek to Shikha (1935 m) that will take just 4 hours. During the journey, what you’ll see is the beautiful view of Dhaulagiri, hill farms, typical dwellings and so on. We’ll manage an appropriate guest house to stay for the night.
Day 20: Trekking of 4 hours leads us to Ghorepani (2850m). We’ll be viewing beautiful peaks of Tukuche, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Range and rhododendron forest. We’ll be at guest house for the night.
Day 21: PoonHill trekking is popular shot trekking that we’ll be experiencing this early morning so that you’ll enjoy the fabulous sunrise over Himalayas. Then we’ll have to trek to Tadapani (2520m) in 5 hours through the rhododendron forest. Overnight at one of the guest houses.
Day 22: From Tadapani, we’ll be trekking to Ghandrung (1940m) which is a stunning village of Gurung people. This will take us just 5 hours. Here we can observe the customs, culture and lifestyle of Gurung people and also have the excellent views of mountains like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Annapurna III. Overnight stay will be at a guest house
Day 23: Our journey is coming to an end, so we’ll be having final trek to Nayapul (1070m) i.e. downhill walk through the forest. Then we’ll be driving back to Pokhara (910m). This will all take 5 hours. You’ll be spending the night in one of the hotels.
Day 24: Finally we’ll be driving back to Kathmandu from Pokhara by a tourist bus and we’ll reach there in 6 hours. This will be your last day in Nepal so we’ll have discussions on the trip we just have had. However we’ll be sharing the photos and beautiful memories and we’ll be glad if you can come again whenever you want. You’ll stay in the hotel for the night.
Day 25: Today we’ll drop you to International Airport for your onward destination with a goodbye. |
