Mera Peak Climbing
Being the highest Trekking peak of Nepal in Khumbu region, Mera Peak(6476 m) has become the most popular trekking peak among the trekkers and climbers. It lies in the Himalayas in Sagarmatha region. The main feature of the Mera Peak is that its summit allows the finest view of five of the world’s 8000m peaks: Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8584m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m), and Cho Oyu (8201m) including other Himalayan peaks. The climbing expedition is technically straight forward and the standard route from the north involves high altitude glacier walking. However it can be a great opportunity for experienced trekkers who are willing to dare and achieve another great climbing experience. But preparative fitness and altitude training before attempting the summit is a must.
