Trisuli River Rafting

Phase1. Drive before rafting:
We will be driving for around 3 hours in the morning through Prithivi highway to reach the rafting put-in-point usually at Charaundi or Baireni. You will be taking a bus or van ride with the team. The same vehicle will take you down through the almost 800 meters rough road to the bank of Trishuli river.

Phase 2. Prepare for the flow:
At the bank of the river, you will suit yourself with a life jacket and a safety helmet along with swim goggles and ear plugs if needed. All Trekking in Nepal guide instructor, who will be the team leader for the event, will brief you about the river safety, paddling technique and other dos and don’ts.

Phase 3. Rafting begins:
The raft will be pushed into the river, synchronised rowing as the instructor commands starts and raft starts to gain pace. You will be totally enjoying the rafting drifts and will be roaring at the top of your voice with excitement. The views of settlement on the bank of the river and around the place, together with other loaded rafts is likely to add more fun to your event. First day of rafting will end after around 3-4 hours during which you will hit many small and big rapids.

Phase 4. River Bank Camping
The rafting for the day will end at Kurintaar or somewhere near to it. With your tired arms, hungry belly and soaring throat, but with very eventful day, you will be taken to a suitable spot for beach camping. Our team will set up the camps and start the full board meal preparation. You will be resting the night at the camp when another eventful day awaits.

Phase 5. Second Day Rafting
After breakfast at around 7 AM, there will be a brief rafting refresh and preparation session. With everyone suited properly, our second day of rafting starts which will last for around 4-5 hours. You will be encountering and tackling 3 and 3+ graded rapids. As you go on facing them, you will be wishing for more larger rapids to come. These moments can hardly be explained through words here.

Phase 6: Lunch break
Near the confluence of the Trisuli and Marsyangdi River at Mugling, we take a break while lunch will be served by our rafting guide team. After lunch and enough rest, we will get into the raft again, gain the pace and flow through the increased water volume of Marsyangdi river. Our raft will have to face few challenging rapids until we reach Simaltaar where our event finally ends.

Phase 7: Back to Kathmandu
From Simaltaar, our vehicle will drive the team back to Kathmandu. With the virtual feeling of the flow and sound of roaring river, you will be taken back to a hotel in Kathmandu. Then your lifetime memorable rafting event finally ends.

    Nepal entry visa , you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos.) (US$ 40 per person) you obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu for 60 days from date of issue. You required 2 passport size photos & your password copy
