Sunrise and Sunset tour is a mixed experience, one that contains everything that you would not like to miss in Nepal. This Tour has been designed to include every possible cultural experience mixed with natural flavour. We have included a package involving UNESCO World Heritage Sites visit in Kathmandu Valley and nearby cities as well as sunrise and sunset view from some of the top destinations in Nepal such as Chitwan, Pokhara and Nagarkot. The one hour mountain flight for Everest view is also an exciting part of this tour.

The major tourist destinations in Nepal such as Pokhara, the city of Lakes, Chitwan and Nagarkot will be visited. The important cultural destinations like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Durbar Squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have been included in this tour. You will be able to observe the cultural and religious prosperity of the people living in Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and Chitwan. The sunrise and sunset view from Sarangkot is an unforgettable souvenir you shall be taking along with you.
Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu When you first arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by the staff from All Trekking in Nepal. You will then be transferred to a hotel in the city in a private vehicle. After checking in at the hotel, a brief orientation about the tour will be given at the hotel. You can, if there is enough time, go out to the city and have a taste of Nepali cuisine. Fine restaurants with excellent food and service are abundant in the city. You will be staying in the hotel overnight.
Day 02: Mt. Everest Flight/ Kathmandu Tour/Nagarkot Waking up in the hotel and being served with a fine breakfast, you will set out on a drive to the Tribhuwan International Airport from where you will get on board on a flight to Everest region. It will be a one hour flight with all comforts and magnificent view of Mt. Everest and other prominent mountains. After the flight, you will check in at the hotel and then start a tour to cultural heritages in the Kathmandu Valley. UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu such as Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath Temple and Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan will be visited. We bet that this visit to such places will give you an insight of the mixed religious and cultural prosperity of Nepal. After the cultural sightseeing, you will be driven to Nagarkot, another important destination for tourists in Nepal. From Nagarkot, you will be able to witness a magnificent view of the sunset over the mountains. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Nagarkot, with bed and breakfast service.
Day 03: Drive to Chitwan National Park On the third day, you will have your breakfast at Nagarkot, watch the sunrise from the hilltop tower and then start on a journey to Chitwan National Park, situated in the western part of Nepal. The national park is a large extent of forest with diverse flora and fauna. After reaching there in about four hours in a vehicle and checking in at a rated hotel there, you will be briefly introduced about the programs there. Jungle Safari in elephant or jeep, bird watching, jungle walk, boating, village tour, canoeing, etc. are some activities you might want to experience. Tharu cultural show and campfire will be the attractions for the evening. Overnight at the resort.
Day 04: Chitwan National Park The fourth day will be full of activities mentioned above. You will be in the National Park area watching some rare species like One Horned Rhinos, Royal Bengal Tiger, alligators and some beautiful birds. Exploring the inner trails of the park in elephant or jeep, boating in the Narayani River, Canoeing in a single tree log and watching the elephants at the breeding center, you will be fully entertained by the beauty and prosperity of the national park. The sunset from the Narayani river bank is one of the best memories for you in this trip. Overnight at resort, inclusive of full board meals.
Day 05: Bandipur On the fifth day, waking up at the resort and having breakfast there, you will be heading towards Bandipur, an ancient settlement. The drive will take about three hours from Chitwan. You will be able to observe the beautiful scenery from Bandipur and the cultural and historical significance of the place. Siddha Gufa, a recently discovered large cave will be visited. The silkworm agriculture is also an attraction of Bandipur. You will be staying at a mountain resort in Bandipur.
Day 06: Pokhara After breakfast at Bandipur, you will set off in a drive to Pokhara, the city of Lakes. The drive takes about 3.5 hours leading you through a beautiful highway to the lap of the mountains. Pokhara, renowned for its mount view and lakes like Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake is a paradise for visitors. Full of comfortable hotels, fine restaurants and wide roads, Pokhara has a lot to offer. Cultural shows at the restaurants where you may dine give you a glimpse of Nepalese music and culture. This is a place to relax among the beauty and glory of the Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre Peak. Boating in the Fewa lake and visit to nearby hills, stupas and caves can be equally interesting. A fine hotel shall be arranged for you there.
Day 07: Hike to Sarangkot Early in the morning on the seventh day, we will drive you to the bottom of a hill called Sarangkot. From there, you can hike to the top that takes about 1.5 hours. Sarangkot is one of the beautiful villages lying in the west of Pokhara well known for its magnificent view of the sun rising over Mount Machhapuchhre. It is at a height of 1592 meters from sea level. The panoramic view of the Mountain Range from Sarangkot is something you would love to capture with your camera. Returning back from Sarangkot and enjoying the evening life of Pokhara, you will stay at the hotel there.
Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu On the eighth day, you will be returning back to Kathmandu. You can buy some souvenirs to take along with you in Thamel. Some leftovers may have to be finished. You can visit more places in the capital city and dine at a fine restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Departure On the ninth day, you will surely feel delighted by the memories you have earned but unfortunately this will be your last day in Nepal. Waking up in the hotel in Kathmandu and having breakfast in the hotel, you will be packing. Perhaps we can all sit together and discuss about the tour, the pros and cons of the travel and the things we need to improve. Receiving your suggestions for us, we will transport you to Tribhuwan International Airport and bid farewell to you with an expectation that you will return back to this country of the mountains. |
