There will be thrilling experience of hiking to the exotic places and countryside with panoramic view of mountains, hills and Himalayan peaks. One by one we will explore the key cultural and archaeological sites and spiritual symbols in the Kathmandu valley which is a home to ancient temples and monuments. From here we head to Pokhara, enjoying striking mountain scenery and stunning landscape on the way. From here, we can enjoy sunset and sun rising over the snowcapped peaks and panoramic mountains. Then, from Pokhara we will be heading and continuing our journey towards Lumbini, regarded as a holy birthplace of Lord Buddha. Its religious and archaeological importance will be explained to you while viewing many artistic monuments built by different countries. Next, we will be heading towards the first national park of Nepal, the Royal Chitwan National Park (1979) which is a popular destination for tourists. The park is full of natural beauty and different species of birds and animals that you can observe in jungle safari. You can also enjoy the aspects of Tharu culture and their lifestyle. We will return back to Kathmandu after this.
The main attraction of this cultural tour is being in touch with the different ethnic people and their culture, religion and lifestyles. Besides that, you can have a thrilling experience of exploring Chitwan National Park with jungle safari, encounter with different species of birds and animals and discovering the unique tradition of culture of Tharu people, boating at Fewa Lake of Pokhara city and spectacular panoramic views of Himalayas from Sarangkot and Nagarkot.
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Our representatives will be there to welcome you and transfer you to Hotel. At Hotel there will be briefing of our further program.
Day 02: Kathmandu – Nagarkot After having breakfast, we will have a half day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley. We will visit Pashupatinath- one of the most revered Hindu temples and then go to Boudhanath where lies the biggest stupa of Asia. Then, we will be continuing our driving to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur, a fascinating town. There we visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square featuring the Victorian illustrations style with temples and temple-complex. Afterwards you will return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Nagarkot – Kathmandu After enjoying the sunrise view from Nagarkot, we will return back to Kathmandu for another half day valley sightseeing as Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is known as the palace of the Malla Kings and then the Shah Kings of Nepal. Most of the culturally important areas will be observed. Then we will visit to famous Kumari Temple which is known as house of the virgin goddess and then to Swayambhunath. This stupa lies on the top of the hill from where you can explore the beautiful scenery of the Kathmandu valley. From there you will return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Day 04: Kathmandu – Pokhara After breakfast you will be driven to the west of Kathmandu i.e. Pokhara along with Prithivi highway, Pokhara is well known destination in Nepal for its panoramic and lush beauty. After reaching over there you will spend excursive trip walking beside the bank of Phewa Lake and boating. You can enjoy the stunning view of the Fish Tail's Peak reflected in the silver surface of the water. You can also enjoy the spectacular view of Annapurna forming a superb backdrop to Pokhara from the lake. Overnight stay will be at Hotel after enjoying tasty cuisine.
Day 05: Sightseeing in Pokhara Early in the morning you will be driven to World peace stupa just 15 kilometers away from your hotel for another tremendous sunrise view around Annapurna & Dhaulagiri range. After this we return back to hotel for breakfast. Then, we begin a full day sightseeing of Pokhara including Phewa lake boating and the Seti River gorge - one of the best places to see. You will have an opportunity to take a glimpse of the limestone cave of Mahendra Gufa & David’s fall well-known for the stalactites. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 06: Pokhara – Chitwan After breakfast, you will be driven to Chitwan from Pokhara. Upon the arrival at resort there will be short description given about the program by our representatives. Good dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 07: Chitwan After having breakfast, you will be taken for a walk around the village, then to the Royal Chitwan Park where you can experience jungle safari, elephant ride and overlook the different species of bird and animals. You can enjoy the cultural dance performed by the Tharus. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 08: Chitwan – Lumbini After breakfast, we will be travelling overland from Chitwan to the Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, a place of holy pilgrimage for Buddhists. Lumbini is listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After arriving at Lumbini, we will transfer you to the hotel. After checking in, we will be going for a walk through the Sacred Lumbini Garden where you can have a look on born converges about Buddha carved on the Ashoka pillar. Then, we will visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stands up on a lotus pedestal. Dinner and overnight at Resort.
Day 09: Lumbini After breakfast, we start a full day excursion of Lumbini. We will begin our trip by driving away, 27km west of Lumbini to visit the important archaeological site, Tilaurakot. There existed the ancient palace of King Suddhodan (Siddhartha Gautam's father), where the Buddha spent his formative years as a Shakya Prince. Over here you can allow yourself for a moment to wander around and enjoy the aura. You can visit a museum nearby known as the Kapilvastu Museum where the pottery, jewelry and ornaments are gathered in-house. After this we will end up the remarkable tour in Tilaurakot by visiting the shrines, monasteries and stupa near the sacred garden. Overnight at Resort followed by Bed and Breakfast Plan.
Day 10: Lumbini – Kathmandu After breakfast, we will leave Lumbini by road and get back to Kathmandu. Then, you will be transferred to hotel. Following day is at your own leisure where you will be free for relaxation and shopping as per your own will & later at the evening you can join in for Nepalese dinner with beautiful cultural dance. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 11: Departure Our representatives will transfer you to the Airport for your next journey ahead. |
