Everest Panorama Trekking

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Our office representative will be waiting you outside of the terminal hall at the airport upon your arrival for warm welcoming you in the Himalaya Kingdom. Then drive to hotel by private vehicle. Brief about the program.

Day 02: Flight to Lukla (2840m) and Trek to Phakding (2650m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House
Today you will have 30 minutes scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (a small tiny airstrip at mountain). Your Everest Panorama View Trekking starts after the plane landed at airport. You will follow the footstep of great climbers along the nice village settlement, forest and waterfalls through Chauri Kharka village, Cheplung, Thade Koshi and Ghat before reach Phakding. A view of Kusum Kangaru from Thade Koshi is highlight of first day trekking and following the river called Dudh Koshi is very interesting.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m). 6-7 hours. Overnight at Guest House
After the breakfast at Phading, we start walking up stream to Dudh Koshi and cross this river 5 times before reach Namche Bazaar. We walk through the nice villages and pass Tok Tok and Banker to reach Manjo. Just beyond the Manje, there is a Sagarmatha National Park office where we buy a permit and continue to go Jorselle, the last place before Namche bazaar. After having a lunch at Jorselle, we follow the Dudh Koshi again and reach at the bottom of the hill, from where we climb 2-3 hours up hill. If there weather is clear in the afternoon while we are ascending the hill, we could see the glimpse of Mt. Everest which will encourage and give you a energy to climb rest of the hill.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
Having exceeded to more than 3000 meters, we will need a day to acclimatize. An acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar will help you adjust to the sudden change in climate and altitude. Today we visit Army camp for breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and Mt Everest and also visit museum. Then we climb up hill for one hour to reach a Syangboche airstrip. We go further climb all the way to Everest View Hotel and back to Namche bazaar via Khumjung village and Sir Edmund Hillary School. Namche Bazar is a gateway to the high Himalaya and the main trading center of the Everest Region. This small village has a good number of lodges, internet cafes and banking facility.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House
This will be another beautiful and interesting day with breathtaking views of high himalayas and walking through silver birch, fir, pine and rhododendron forest. After breakfast, we climb 30 minutes to reach at the top of the Namache bazaar hill and then the trail goes almost flat and gentle climb to Kyanjuma. From there, the trail goes down to Punki Thagna, where we stop for lunch. After lunch we climb up hill again for 2 hours to reach Tengboche. Tengboche is very famous place in Khumbu region for Monastery and great views of Mountains.

Day 06: Trek to Khumjung Village (3750m). 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House
After being at the our destination of Everest Panorama Trekking, we start our trekking by going down a hill for one hour and the climb 2-3 hours again to reach Khumjung village. Khumjung is the biggest settlement village in Khumbu region. You will take to visit Sir Edmund Hillary School, Khumjung Gompa and village in the afternoon.

Day 07: Trek to Namche Bazaar. 2 hours. Overnight at Guest House

Day 08: Trek to Phakding. 4 hours. Overnight at Guest House

Day 09: Trek to Lukla. 3 hours. Overnight at Guest House

Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
From Lukla, we will be taking a domestic flight back to Kathmandu this day. Recapping the mountain views and events so far, we will have a safe flight from Lukla. We shall then drive to a rated Hotel in Kathmandu where you will be spending the night.

Day 11: Departure
On the final day, you will be transferred to the Tribhuwan International Airport on our private vehicle. After such an adventurous and memorable trip, we will look forward to your comments and suggestions and wish to see you again.

Q. When do I visit Nepal?
Ans - Nepal is governed by the Southerly Monsoon weather system which brings heavy precipitation between the months of June and September, i.e. it rains a lot. Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) are the best time to visit Nepal.

   
Q. Can I do a Everest Panoroma Trekking in Nepal?
Ans - Previous trekking and mountaineering experience is not necessary to do a trekking in Nepal. If you are reasonably fit and enjoy walking, you can do any trek in Nepal. Normally the shorter treks tend to be easier whilst the longer ones often require a better standard of fitness.
  
Q. Where do I stay and sleep during the trekking?
Ans - You stay either in a guesthouse or a tent during the trekking. The most popular trekking areas like Annapurna, Everest and Langtang provide best sleeping accommodation. If you go to the restricted areas like Dolpo, Upper Mustang, Manaslu etc., you stay and sleep in a tent during the trekking.
   
Q. Are the foods and water safe to eat and drink during the trekking?
Ans - Yes, the foods are eatable and water is safe to drink during the trekking. All meals are prepared to high standards, fruits and vegetables are soaked in iodine before preparation. Most lodges serve boiled and filtered water, which is generally safe to drink, we suggest to put a drop of iodine to be totally sure.
  
Q. What is Altitude Sickness?
Ans - Altitude Sickness is also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (A.M.S.). It may occur when people ascend too quickly. The symptoms of AMS may be seen in our body after crossing 2800m. Headache, shortness of breath and possibly light-headedness are fairly common. Acute mountain sickness is very different and normally involves a severe headache, sickness and loss of awareness. Descending to a lower altitude will generally be enough to prevent any further problems. HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema) and HACE (High Altitude Cardio Edema) are the major symptoms of altitude sickness.
